LIMITED RESOURCE RESCUE
Course Descriptions
Basic: This course is an introduction to executing hasty or deliberate rescue in resource-limited environments while working within established safety factors. This course is suitable for all skill levels, but the student joining with low previous experience will benefit most from the basic version.
This class provides all information needed for small groups with no prior experience to create simple rescue systems and execute scree rescues of single subjects using minimal equipment.
Intermediate: This course will build on basic rope skills allowing students to execute hasty or deliberate rescue in resource-limited environments while working within established safety factors. This course is suitable for all skill levels, but the student joining with some previous experience will benefit most from the intermediate version.
This class provides all information needed for small groups with no prior experience to create simple rescue systems and execute scree rescues of single subjects using minimal equipment. This course teaches skills consistent with NFPA 1006 operations-level training.
Advanced: This course is an expert-level course executing hasty or deliberate rescue in resource-limited environments while working within established safety factors. This course is suitable for people with varied skill levels, but the student joining with strong previous experience will benefit most from the basic version. This course teaches skills consistent with NFPA 1006 Technician-level training.

Prerequisites
Basic: None
Intermediate: Completion of Limited Resource Rescue- Basic or equivalent experience
Advanced: Completion of Limited Resource Rescue- Intermediate or training consistent with NFPA 1006 Operations Level
Equipment Needed
Students are required to be dressed to be outside, have eye protection, sturdy footwear, UIAA rated helmet, leather gloves, and at least a riggers belt, preferably a harness. A harness is necessary for intermediate and advanced courses.
